FF: Dissidia! A must have for Shinji!

Final Fantasy Dissidia! Best Fighting game for psp?.....ever?

Kewl it wasnt for my birthday but it was still a super cool gift....well i kinda requested that they buy it for me...but whateva ^^

It is a FF game....so naturaly we all asume its gona be awesome. And it is. WEll as a fightin flick i was kinda. . . . wondering how will it turn out.

It turned out platinum! Starting with the trademark mind blowing scinematic in Square Enix style that got us seeing all 20 chars fighting togheter....rly cool movie. Sets the mood for the start of the game. The tutorial is kinda essential i must admit. Cuz the way to execute your moves might get a bit confusing in the beginning and random button pushes wont do a thing here. You just gonna get ur ass wooped. You actualy need to plan ur moves and be very carefull. . .you can get in a long 5 mins fight (btw there are no timers you can fight all day long) or just pwn the opponent or get pwned in less than 10 secs (which happens alot to the npc`s)!

So there is a quick tutorial after the cinematic and then 1 before you can engage the story mode.

The menu design is wonderfull and rich. Plenty of stuff to do around. It has a pokemon live clock feature. Which tracks whats the time and day..and if ur lucky during some days you get bonuses on EXP,Ability Pts, Player Points or even money. Also u can chose 1 special day in which you get all the bonuses. Obviously if you try to change the BD it will take effect next week xD No cheating allowed?! :O

N u get some funky emails from some...i guess FF chars from the FF uni but i dont know them. What i enjoy is that i actualy get to see alot of chars from all the 10 games...learn abit about them and see what they got :> Cloud is still my fav tho im yet to try Squall and Tidus. Tidus at least looks as cool as Cloud.

Max lvl is 100....and way i see it ....its gona take long time to lvl up everybody and see all their moves as shinji said...ive done about 30 hours so far and ive done 3 story modes and lots of quick fights to train myself and lvl em up. I had to do some real lvl grinding to beat the Emperor at the last lvl from "Warrior of the Light" storyline....guys was just too high for me when i reached him. And he was rly tough too :( god damn fireballs the size of of a car....wth is that for? :O

So slowly ur chars lvl up...learn new abilities, master old ones. U have to manage ur skills cuz u have a limit pts so u got to be carefull...mastering them brings their activateion cost down so lvl up is again the way to go. The heroes have limited moves in the beginning but slowly you unlock more and more. Which keeps u always interested and wondering whats gona come next. The game rly knowns how to reward you. There is equipment and trinkets for you to use. Even summons...so u can rly customize your hero and it brings a cool sense of RPG and progress.

You cant change how the chars look..but from the PP shop you can purchas 1 alt look which is still cool. Last night i got myself Clouds FF advent children costume which is just waaaay better than his original outfit.

Havent try the arcade mode but from the description im sure its gona be some hard fighting there.

Now the cool bonus. After 2nd story mode completed i unlocked the Museum. Where you can view char profiles with info and a view mode....eh the view mode is such a kewl feature. you get em full size in a combat stance and get to zoom and rotate them as you wish. You can get a good look at the design and everything...cuz the battle look is limited on details so this feature is rly cool.
You can view all cinematics and cutscenes you have unlocked which is super smart cuz ive played tons of games with cool cinematics and no re-view feature which rly sucks!

You can listen to the chars voices . . . from battle cries to victory and loss lines. . . even cutscene speaches....rly alot of stuff to unlock!

A feature i totaly love and use everynight before going to bed is the music player. Listening all the tracks from the game. Which includes a huge variety of 41 tracks (maybe later there will be new ones?_ that span across the FF 1-10 games. The instrumentals are so wonderfully made that most of the tracks blend so well that when the song repeats itself you cant spot the moment and it all sounds like 1 huge song. Rly cool. There couple of songs that are so relaxing that when you listen to them long enough u might aswell fall asleep.

And here is again another reward you get....meh the bonuses in this game keep getting better and better.

Once you unlock the museum you can actualy record your fights and review em. Im sure we have all played cool games and sometimes we get these rly awesome and intense fights and we wish we couldve recorded them to see later or show to our friends! Well you can do that here!

And here is the spicy part that makes this game a must for Shinji. You can actualy go into a editor mode and edit the reply data...if ur skilled enough you can probably make some awesome movies even cutscenes if you band with a friend. I even did 1 short clip of a fight between me and Sephirot but i can upload it cuz i lost my usb cable so when i get new one ill put it on. Althou im sure there tons of fan made clips already on youtube. Its rly awesome and just the movie edit feature alone can take hours and hours of your time.

So the game has plenty of stuffs to be unlocked! It just makes you come back again and again and keeps rewarding you the more you play. It truly is the best fighting game i have played so far!

p.p: The Will Smith video was kewl! Updating the music player right away hehe ^^

p,p2: If it aint usher, justin or hammer....we can touch ya ^_^ hm....chers for shinji with Rain: Touch Ya ! lmao

ROFL.. I actually only jumped on the "FF" train without looking at where it's going. I thought it's a FF game for the PSP, not a fightin (street fighter?) style. xD But... it seems they didn't disappoint anyway. But it still wouldn't hold me for long. I'd just try each special with each char and it's a break up.

read the review and see why it is a must for you xD
tbh i think its sad that the psp community in bg...(which we dont have xD) is so small....but the prices of the games are pretty unbearable for the casual players. . .and the psp has sooo much to offer...ive checked my saved games and counted that ive played 19 games so far....if u can afford games its rly a great relaxation tool....also i carry it with me everywhere on the outside to listen music :>

Crisis Core was a normal FF game for PSP....it was the story before Advent Children....great movies but weird way to tell the story,....i guess some stuff are best suited for the jap audience!

K I guess I'd love the game too xD Not actually 'cause of the movie mode - but leveling is fun everywhere. :P

About ZP I was actually expecting this review the last week. 'Cause that's when it came out.. so maybe now I'd have expected Batman... but that would have to be my guess for the next week. But now that I finished Wolfenstein before watching.. it is entertaining.. just a normal FPS. Nothing more to defend there.. but the question "why do we need upgrades in games" I actually like each game that has upgrades more than the others that don't. Maybe 'cause we like rpg's and it comes the closest to leveling. It just is more fun in any game "fps.. racing (nfs?)... and so on". My point: upgrading is fun! xD

kewl it says at the end of the video that batman is next lmao xD
learn to read xD

Lofl.. what a girly statement "learn to read bu bu bu"...

I dun watch the credits (anymore) at ZP. But seems my gut was right. Who's the king? xD

I won't watch 'em in future either.. 50% of the fun is being surprised - and having fun guessing what game will be next.
